The sixteen months that I lived in South East Asia, I kept a hefty journal by my side and blogged at least once a month. After graduation in 2008 many things were left unattended to for a time. Rejoining with family after over a year of separation, acculturating to the US again (which by the way was more difficult than acculturating to SE Asia), I set my writing aside. Entering the fall of 2009, I found that my desire to communicate, to share this walk of life and the Joy that seeks my heart with those around me burning within me. I delight in sharing life with those who are around me but when distance hinders sharing life in person I find words are my greatest companion. I’m a young woman on a journey. The ultimate destination is certain. Though the pathway at times seems dim. Christ’s light shines ever before. My steps are ones of certainty. A joy-filled journey to be sure. The changing of the seasons brings new life to my heart. I’ve come to delight in changing and growing with them. It’s beautiful picture, a reminder in nature of the Creator. I enjoy journeying through life with others and want to invite you to traverse the path of joyful obedience with me.
